QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

 

In the view of the constant investment in production and demands from our customers, we at VAM – Vieira Alves Metalomecânica, S.A., assume a global commitment throughout its policy to ensure Quality and Reduction on environmental impact connected to its Activities, Products and Services, as a guarantee of efficiency in its Environment and Quality Management System (EQMS).

To maintain this policy positioning, the company keeps a fully Integrated Management System, in accordance to the NP EN ISO 9001 and NP EN ISO 14001 standards and regulations, promoting a continuous improvement in Quality, environmental performance, reduction and prevention of pollution associated to its activities, products and services counting with all its Collaborators commitment.

Our fundamental goal is the total satisfaction of all parts: Administrators, Customers, Collaborators, Suppliers, Authorities and Community in general.

Therefore, it is fundamental to adopt as performance principles the following:

Do well the first way, within the established time limit at the expected cost.

• Answer in a fast and efficient way to the presented complaints and prevent the problems.
• Apply the compliance obligations to be signed by our company in the extent of its EQMS.
• Define quality objectives and develop Management Programs that enable us to achieve environmental objectives, as defined accordingly to the significant environmental aspects and Environment Policy as well as reviewing them whenever necessary.
• Promote awareness for the use of the best environmental practices and appreciation of the human resources, supplying them with training, assessment of their performance and satisfaction in order to make them feel motivated and satisfied.
• It is our final concern the reduction of breakdowns as a mean to maintain all the equipments permanently operational.

It is indispensable to convey to our customers our experience, skill and organization, that are able to supply the required levels of Environment and Quality in a way to satisfy their needs and overcome their expectations.
